Syzygies of Segre embeddings -- Andrew Snowden, December 9, 2011
I will explain some finiteness results on syzygies of Segre embeddings and related varieties. These results imply that there are only finitely many "forms" of p-syzygies as one varies over all Segre embeddings, and that the modules of p-syzygies of all Segre embeddings can be computed in finite time. These results are obtained as easy consequences of a general algebraic theory of objects called Delta-modules.
