Title: Legendrian Torus Links

Abstract: Legendrian knots and links are topological knots and links
that satisfy a geometric condition imposed by a contact structure. A
basic problem in contact topology is to understand when two
topologically equivalent Legendrian links are Legendrian equivalent. A
classification of Legendrian unknots was given by Eliashberg and
Fraser in the early 1990s. A few years ago, Etnyre and Honda
classified Legendrian torus knots. I will discuss the classification
of Legendrian torus links. The theory of convex surfaces and the DGA
associated to a Legendrian link play important roles in this
classification. This is joint work with Jennifer Dalton and John
Etnyre.
