Symplectic Topology Reading Seminar - Fall 2018

General Information

Description: The Symplectic Topology Reading Seminar at Columbia University is an informal reading seminar organized by and for graduate students and post docs (or really anyone) interested in topics surrounding symplectic topology. The topic for the Fall 2018 seminar is tentatively Examples in Symplectic Topology and Mirror Symmetry. All are welcome!
Time and Location: Every Thursday from 4:15pm - 5:45pm in Mathematics 528
Contact Information: For general questions or to be added to the email list please contact at "pieloch [at] math [dot] columbia [dot] edu".

The Reading List

We are beginning by reading the following survey paper by Auroux.
  • Auroux, Special Lagrangian fibrations, wall-crossing, and mirror symmetry [arXiv]
Afterwards, we plan to move onto the following paper by Tonkonog.
  • Tonkonog, String topology with gravitational descendants, and periods of Landau-Ginzburg potentials [arXiv]
