Instanton counting and Seiberg-Witten curves

Witten's reformulation of Donaldson theory as a twisted
version of N=2 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory has led
to numerous results in four dimensional topology. In my talk I will
explain how the opposite was achieved recently: the equivariant
version of Donaldson theory of R^4 leads to the solution
of low-energy N=2 super-Yang-Mills theory.
