Title: Non-free curves on Fano varieties
Abstract: Suppose X is a complex Fano variety and B is a smooth projective curve. I will give a geometric description of the components of Mor(B,X) of sufficiently large degree which fail to parametrize free curves. The main results are motivated by arithmetic conjectures in the function field setting. This is joint work with Eric Riedl and Sho Tanimoto.
