Columbia University, October 7—9, 2022

General Information

The conference will be held in person at Columbia University campus. It will start at 9:30 am on Friday, October 7, and will conclude at 3pm on Sunday, October 9. The talks would be in Room 312 in the Mathematics building on Saturday (see also the map below). Here you can find detailed directions to the Mathematics Department and other travel information. Please note that the entry to the Mathematics Department building is via card access, we will keep the door open at the beginning of the day and after lunch, if you are trying to get in at other times and the door is locked, please call (212) 854-4113. Coffee breaks would be at the Mathematics Department Cantor Lounge (508 Mathematics).

Talks would also be broadcasted via Zoom, Zoom link would be emailed to all participants who registered for the conference before October 1 shortly before the start of the conference. You can also request the link by sending an email to agmpis22@gmail.com.

Conference banquet will be at the Faculty House. Please note that there is no access to the Faculty House from the Morningside Drive. Hence, either use the gate on the 116th Street or take the pedestrian bridge over Amsterdam Avenue from the main campus, and then use the stairs.

Some travle support is available through the NSF conference grant. Current and recent PhDs, and members of underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply. Deadline to apply for travel support is August 20, 2022. To apply, please submit the registration form and mark the corresponding checkbox.

Columbia University Mathematics Department made arrangements to have a limited number of hotel rooms available to the conference participants at reasonable rates. Deadline to ask for hotel accommodations is September 1, 2022, so please submit the registration form by this deadline and mark the corresponding checkbox.
