To create a link from the Columbia University Directory of Classes to a course web page,

• Copy the “Section key” found as the last entry in the section page for the course.
• Read the instructions given at About the Directory of Classes.
• Use the Section Information Change Form (login required) to add a section homepage URL.

Courseworks

To create a link from CourseWorks to a course web page,

• Log in to CourseWorks.
• Find the course in question, and edit it.

In “Pages”, create a new page, with the following HTML content:

<p>Please visit the following web page for information about this course:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.math.columbia.edu/~bayer/F22/LinearAlgebra">Fall 2022 Linear Algebra (Dave Bayer)</a></p>

Set this as the “Front Page”, then back in “Home”, select this page as the Home Page.

Now submit an incident to the Service Desk

Please combine CourseWorks sections

I am teaching two sections of Linear Algebra this semester: MATHV2010_001_2022_3 MATHV2010_002_2022_3 Please combine these two sections on CourseWorks. I want to be able to set up assignments once for both sections. I want to use a single Zoom meeting for problem sessions attended by either section. I want both sections to have access to the same recordings. Thank you.
