Various students encouraged me to build a 3D model for the tetrahedron symmetries. The above PDF file is the pattern I printed twice onto card stock, to make the model shown.
I punched out the holes using the bamboo skewer I planned to use as an axis, then cut out the four faces, creased the flaps, and glued the tetrahedron together in stages. Super glue is what rock guitarists use to repair split fingers in mid-concert; I don’t recommend it here unless you wear disposable gloves. Elmers or wood glue, or tape, works fine.
