Welcome to the Columbia Student Probability Seminar. In this seminar, we will continue our study of the paper Directed Landscape written by Duncan Dauvergne, Janosch Ortmann, and Balint Virag. Here is a link to the paper. Our talks will be held in room 622 on Thursday from 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM.

02/01/2024 Jiyue Zeng We will talk about chapter 10 of the Directed Landscape paper, which covers the construction of Directed Landscape.
02/15/2024 Hindy Drillick We will introduce the KPZ equation, three physical models that belong to the KPZ universality class, and also define the space-time white noise.
02/22/2024 Hindy Drillick We will continue with the introduction of the cole-hopf solution of KPZ equation, Walsh integral, space-time white noise and martingale measure.
02/29/2024 Victor Hugo Daniel We will continue with proof of the cole-hopf solution of KPZ equation and the positivity result.
04/04/2024 Zoe Himwich We will make a summary of various determinantal point processes within the KPZ universality class.
