Title: Local mirror symmetry for disk Gromov-Witten invariants

Abstract: Mirror symmetry for a local Calabi-Yau threefold
predicts the disk
Gromov-Witten invariants in terms of the Abel-Jacobi map of its
mirror
curve. I will present the basic setup of mirror symmetry in
this situation,
and will also discuss the definition of disk Gromov-Witten
invariants in
both smooth and orbifold toric Calabi-Yau threefolds. Then I
will discuss
the computation of these invariants and a proof of this
prediction. The talk
is based on the joint works with Chiu-Chu Melissa Liu and
Hsian-Hua Tseng.
