Some observations on Borel-Moore homology and cycle maps

For singular schemes, the natural target for cycle class maps
is Borel-Moore homology.  I will discuss the &eacute;tale
version of this theory and how to define the cycle map in this
context.  Then I will discuss compatibility with Fulton's
refined intersection product with an eye towards the
calculation of local terms for correspondences.
