Read lecture 3 in Prof. Friedman's notes. Then do exercises 4-7 from Lecture 2 and 1-7 from Lecture 3.
Note: exercises 4-7 from Lecture 3 use Cauchy's integral formula, which we may not get to until the December 11 lecture. If so, these exercises will be optional.
