The equivariant cohomology of quot schemes -- Linda Chen

Certain quot schemes can be viewed as compactifications of the space of
rational curves on Grassmannians.  We compute their equivariant cohomology
rings by extending the work of Goresky, Kottwitz, and Macpherson, and by
analyzing their torus fixed points and (infinitely many) fixed
one-dimensional orbits.  This is joint work with Tom Braden and Frank
Sottile.
