On motives for cusp forms -- Carel Faber

Consani and I have recently obtained a new construction
    of the motives corresponding to cusp forms in genus 1 and
    level 1
    occurring in the cohomology of Mbar_{1,n}. I will discuss this
    construction. If time permits, the situation in higher genus and
    higher level will be considered as well.
