Theta operator for Siegel modular forms -- Alexandru Ghitza

I will discuss recent work on the construction of an
interesting derivation on the spaces of mod p Siegel modular
forms.  Our construction mimics the one given by N. Katz in the
elliptic case, and it generalizes the Ramanujan-Serre theta
operator.
