On the D-dimension of certain types of threefolds

Let Y be a smooth threefold contained in a smooth projective
threefold X with H^i(Y, \Omega^j)=0 and let D be the boundary
divisor with simple normal crossings. We prove that the
D-dimension of X is not 2. We also consider the affineness of Y
when the D-dimension is 3.
