The Banach-Tarski Paradox:
The Banach-Tarski Paradox is an interesting consequence of the "controversial" axiom-of-choice. It states the it is possible to "cut" the solid ball in 3-dimensional space into finitely many pieces and reassemble them to make 2 solid balls each of the same volume as the first. In this talk we will investigate this pardox and give a sketch of the proof. This talk will accessible to anyone.
