Alvaro Martinez
I am a fifth-year PhD student in the Department of Mathematics at Columbia University. My advisor is Mikhail Khovanov. I am interested in representation theory, categorification, low-dimensional topology and computational aspects.
Before Columbia, I did the Part III masters program at the University of Cambridge. I obtained my BSc from Imperial College London, where I transferred to from the University of Valencia.
