READ Chapter 8 in Kelly.
If you haven't already, WRITE a paragraph (say 100-150 words) about an aspect of the music or the performance of Carmen that interested you and post it on the course blog. And look at, or comment on, the entries by your peers. We will discuss them in class on Tuesday.
Also, LOOK at the assignment for Paper #2, a concert report. A distinctive feature is that there is no fixed due date. Rather, the paper is due one week after the concert you attend. As with Paper #1, grades will be reduced by one half-grade per day for papers submitted after that. On the next assignment, you will be asked which concert you plan to attend, and on the assignment after that, you will be asked to confirm that you have bought a ticket.
But for now, PRINT the questionnaire and fill it out as you LISTEN to Beethoven's Fifth Symphony.
