Here is my attempt at Exercise 12: classify_conic.txt Mike wrote a solution that is only computationally reasonable for small primes. This script only works for odd primes, but uses the properties of partial derivatives, making it less computationally complex. It doesn't quite work yet, but I should have it running by tomorrow (6/14). Update: I have uploaded what seems to be a fully functioning version of the script; it incorporates a slightly modified version of the solution to Exercise 4 from Johan's page.
